Overview: Baird Independent School District selected Gallagher, a Cumming Group Company, to serve as Construction Manager-Agent for a pair of new facilities that expand the district’s athletic and vocational offerings. The 25,207 sq. ft. gymnasium includes regulation wood floors, bleachers, four locker rooms, training room, coach’s office, workout room, and concession area with restrooms. Adjacent to the gym, the 5,466 sq. ft. vocational agriculture building includes classrooms, a wood shop, storage areas, and student restrooms. We completed the project on time and under budget, maximizing district value without compromising scope or quality.
