Kaufman County entrusted Gallagher with the management of its 2022 bond program, amounting to $73 million. This program encompassed several projects, such as the construction of a new justice center with additions, a sheriff substation, courthouse renovations, three sub-courthouses, and a pet adoption center.

The justice center will be a 98,870 square foot building including multiple courtrooms, administration areas, a public law library, a security area, a mediation space, clerk desks, a collections department, a district attorney’s office, a public defender’s office, other court related spaces, and parking spaces.
